Stupid toe.

I'm trying to remember what I was doing to plow my toe into the mat yesterday-- maybe trying to recover guard or go inverted, and my partner had her hand on my ankle-- it was NOT her fault, but I'm trying to recreate it. In any case, it's really sore. I can walk, sort of, and ran sort of during lunch class at the gym. I'm heading to jits in a few minutes so we'll see how it goes.

In the meantime, some cool dubstep I found, of all places, on the Jiu Jitsu Forums. Give it a few seconds, you'll get scared at the beginning, but it will make you smile.

the beginning was ok, not a big fan of dubstep though. I prefer a little of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDBs6x2pGTs

I saw this video and recalled that you have trained at a Katy school a few times.

Do you have any thoughts on or backstory to this? It doesn't seem like it's horrible or negligent, but Thomas comes off as more callous than he needed to be there.

I don't think I've ever trained in Katy to be honest. Is that where this happened?

I've seen this video before. I don't know the people involved though I believe this instructor was the subject of an investigation over on Bullshido. I do think this was both horrible and negligent. Poor example set for the young students; poor example of what our art is supposed to be all about; and to stand and laugh (and push the guy onto his face) when he is unconscious (instead of turning him over, soothing him as he wakes up and preventing further flailing) is retarded. IMHO.
