Fala guerra!!!!

Here's the Bren Event Center at UC Irvine, 8am yesterday and obviously before the controlled chaos that is the Pan American Jiu Jitsu Championship got truly underway...



Mitch and I worked a long hard day yesterday but under it all was a very happy, settled feeling that I can do this. Josh, one of our instructors, told me "Fala guerra" before I left-- literally, talk war, but Rio slang for "Kick ass!"

That's how I feel. I feel like talking war and GOING to war and that's good... it's what I'll be doing today!
