I'm biased of course being a MG student... This is a fascinating example of how skill can overcome a much larger and stronger opponent. Even one with a high degree of training. My take away from this was seeing how Arlovksi was forced to keep his effort at 100% while MG would modulate his exertion as needed. So awesome :) Thanks Georgette! (it's also ironic I trained in Sombo today working on ways to capitalize on BJJ weaknesses :) )
That just totally rocked! Marcelo flowed with so little visible effort. It was as if he saw each of his opponent's moves well before they happened. Every time they restarted it was as if he'd already processed all of Arlovski's moves on an intuitive level. Just amazing!
