Well, don't people get nickames when people just start calling them something? I don't think you can pick your own. Othewise, wouldn't people pick a nickname like "captain awesome" as opposed to some of the BJJ names they get stuck with, which aren't very flattering like "Napao" (big nose"; "Margarida" (a girl's name, because he complains a lot); "Pe De Pano" (loosely translated as horse face); "tio barriga" (uncle belly); or macaco "monkey".
i think she should go with the esl executioner so she can be the bilingual bad ass that she is..lol
Yes, you can't really "pick" your own nickname, but you can perpetuate it. You can introduce yourself and suggest people call you it, or you can put it on your blog.
I hereby declare that Megan is the winner. I shall put this on my header post haste!
(Though for more formal occasions I may be referred to as "JuJuBe")
