We're doing judo month at my gym (my first exposure). Love the concept of "winning the game upstairs". I even find it easier in BJJ to think of your opponent's body in 2 halves.
O-soto-gari is a great throw. We use it a lot in Japanese Jiu jitsu, from which Judo was formed. As stated in the video, the best way to do it is to take their balance in their upper body, ensuring their weight is on the foot that you're going to reap. Thanks for sharing the vid! :)
